Prop 203 Passed!!!
Now What?
We would like to send out a spacial thanks to the folks at the Marijuana Policy Project for all their hard work. Please, consider helping them bring similar success to more states.
Medicinal Marijuana and the AZ Dept. of Health
The AZ Dept. of Health is tasked with the job of filling in all the details that Prop. 203 left out. They will have to invest quite a bit of time into talking to other states' officials, and put together everything from the application form to the fancy software to doctors, patients, and sales. The entire community is looking forward to news from them, and quite possibly making use of the near "Open Door Policy" they have in place to get input from various local groups.
The Dept. of Health has created an informative section of their website in order to answer questions about the timeline involved. The current page shows dates and times of meetings, a video from the Director, Will Humble, as well as a couple PDF downloads of the law, an FAQ section, and a newsletter link to keep informed through email.
Thank You, Will Humble and Staff for taking these extra steps to keep is informed! Above and Beyond!
